Damn, it‘s almost been exactly one year since my last post. I guess I’ve been busy with other stuff. At least I'm back now and hopefully there will be a lot more stuff painted during the coming autumn and winter which is the best time for wargaming :)
The Ruined Coaching Inn
This is how far I‘ve gotten on this amazing house from Tabletop World. As you can see it’s only the first floor, the other two floors are still unpainted. Stay tuned for more.

Difficult to get a good shot. I will try to shoot better ones in the future.

I was about to send an e-mail to Tabletop World and ask them if my Ruined Coaching Inn was on it's way or if it had been devoured by the Icelandic ashes. But to my surprise, a note in my mail later that day said it was delivered to my post office so I picked it up immediately.
Tabletop World deliver what they promise
The initial reactions were …
— My god this looks amazing, fantastic, awesome, great, wooohaaa!
The secondary reactions came later …
— This will take forever to paint!
But I can't blame Tabletop World for making a detailed piece of scenery. I think it will be a pleasure to assemble and paint. I'll add a few lowres pictures from my iPhone so you can see the amount of stuff that was in the box.

After searching a lot around the web for buildings I think my conclusion must be that there are more cool stuff available to buy than I have money or room for. Anyway, I've put together a list of the models I like a lot, sorted by each manufacturer.
A company started by two friends from Croatia who since 2007 creates highly realistic buildings in resin. They make their stone walls stone by stone, just like they did in medieval times, to get them to look as close to real life as possible.
I actually want to have all of their products, but if I have to choose I will buy them in this order:
Ruined Coaching Inn, 95€
Merchant's House, 37€
Medieval Inn, 45€
Blacksmith's Forge, 60€
Town Square, 20€
A company based in Belgium that makes scenery and buildings. They make them of G-Super or Gellisuper, which is equal to resin in terms of solidity and detail and 15 times more dense than high quality molding plaster. Whatever that means…
I would really like a bunch of their houses because they are all playable on all levels which would be excellent for Mordheim.
Ruined Tower Wall, 35€
The inside is sculpted and playable on ground level, first and second floor.
Inn, 45€
The inside is sculpted and playable on ground level, first and second floor.
One-storey House, 22,50€
The inside is sculpted and playable on ground level and first floor.
Two-storey House, 32,50€
The inside is sculpted and playable on ground level, first and second floor.
Fantasy Village Set
CT-Scenery has a nice set with 2x one-storey house, 1x two-storey house, 1x Inn and 1x fantasy accessories(don't know what this is) for 115€.
Pirates?
They have a couple of preview images of an upcoming project they call Pirates. The good news is that the house looks sweet. The bad news is that the latest news is from 28th of May. So one can only wonder when it will be released.
A company from Zaragoza in Spain who makes resin models with good price/quality ratio. Don't know so much more about them because their site is in Spanish only.
I'm interested in four of their models:
Casa Humilde, 15€
Morada del Gobernador, 50€
Taberna del León, 20€
Morada Abandonada, 35€
A part of Games Workshop and based in Nottingham, England. They have their own design, manufacturing, shipping, sales and so on, so I guess in that sense they are a completely different company than GW.
All their models are resin models and their website looks like it's been made 20 years ago.
Warhammer Well, 14£
Warhammer Bloomery, 10£
Warhammer Coaching Inn, 90£
Warhammer Cottage, 17£
Warhammer Wooden Bridge, 32£
I can only find these if I follow linkes from other sites. Maybe they´re out of production?
Conclusion
This is by far the most work I ever put into a blog post. And this Mordheim project will be crazy expensive! ;)
